Rail & Trail Family Fun Festival

The Rail & Trail Family Fun Festival features a round-trip train ride through the redwoods to a party at Roaring Camp. If you haven’t taken this ride before, you will be delighted by the unique views of the San Lorenzo River Valley as seen from the train. The afternoon party features live music by JADe with Ted Porter and Patti Maxine, raffle prizes, games for children, and a delicious picnic lunch with free soft drinks and local beer and wine available for purchase.
Volunteers will be on hand to share the history and future of rail transit in Santa Cruz and updates on the 32-mile Rail Trail construction projects.
Proceeds benefit the Friends of the Rail & Trail.

Raffle
We will have a fun raffle during the event. Tickets can only be purchased during the event so your chances are good to win one of our many cool prizes. Raffle Tickets will be on sale at $5 for 2 tickets. But you can get 5 tickets for $10, 12 tickets for $20, and 20 tickets for $30. Such a deal!
Every ticket holder receives a chance to win one of our fabulous prizes. These include original art, concert tickets, gift certificates to local restaurants, tickets to local attractions, bicycling supplies, and other valuable gifts from local businesses. You will have the opportunity to buy more raffle tickets at the event and increase your chance of winning your favorite prize!
