Rail & Trail Festival - Sunday, October 1
The Rail & Trail Festival features a round-trip train ride through the redwoods to a party at Roaring Camp. If you haven’t taken this ride before, you will be delighted by the unique views of the San Lorenzo River Valley as seen from the train. The afternoon party features live string band music, raffle prizes, games for children, and a delicious picnic lunch with local craft beverages.

Serving as MC for the festivities at Roaring Camp will be City of Santa Cruz Mayor Fred Keely!
Public Transportation advocate Rod Diridon will share a few words about the importance of public transportation in addressing climate change.
Volunteers will be on hand to share the history and future of rail transit in Santa Cruz and updates on the 32-mile Rail Trail construction projects.
Proceeds benefit the Friends of the Rail & Trail.
